Mass Casual Incident Training Planned for Hudson Falls

Don't be alarmed if you see an accident scene on the Franklin Street side of the Hudson Falls High School on Thursday, May 16th.

It's a part of a training exercise.

The Fort Edward Rescue Squad, Kingsbury Volunteer Fire Department, Washington County Sheriff's Department, Hudson Falls School District and other mutual aid partners will be conducting a Mass Casualty Incident Training exercise on the Franklin Street side of the Hudson Falls High School parking lot at 11am.   As part of the training exercise, there will be multiple vehicles placed in a "crash" scenario, with students getting to see how emergency services respond and coordinate rescue efforts in scenarios where casualties are involved.  Students will get to witness the effects of driving intoxicated, distracted or impaired.

It's recommended to seek alternate routes or avoid the area while this training takes place.
