The regional band Blue Oyster Cult is no stranger to this area. In the past they have appeared at The Glens Falls Civic Center and have appeared in the Albany area numerous times over the years too! Originally formed in 1967....They are finally calling it quits after the release of their 15th studio album "Ghost Stories".. .The record features songs that were primarily recorded between 1978 and 1983 with one notable exception which is the track "If I Fell" which was recorded in 2016. The record will also include a live version of the MC5 track "Kick Out The Jams" and will will also include cover versions of a couple of tracks that were originally recorded by The Animals and The Doors....The bulk of the album was recorded on analog tape and transferred to digital audio. The record is scheduled to be released on April 12 and is expected to be the last album from Blue Oyster Cult!!!
