
The Queensbury road will close as crews replace a 1930 culvert.
QUEENSBURY - If you use Corinth Road to travel through Queensbury, whether it is to get to West Mountain or further to Lake Luzerne or Corinth from the Northway or Glens Falls and points east, you will need to seek an alternate route starting April 1st.
The Warren County Department of Public Works announces the road will close for a culvert replacement project at Clendon Brook, between Van Dusen and Sherman Island roads in Queensbury. Preliminary work including the setting up of the work site begins Monday, March 17th.
The closure is expected to continue through September as contractors work on the aging culvert, which dates back to 1930.
Detours will be in place that takes motorists onto Van Dusen, Luzerne and West Mountain Roads in Queensbury.

Corinth Road carries Warren County Route 28 through the Town of Queensbury, connecting the Northway and Glens Falls and the villages of Corinth and Lake Luzerne.
