In her second season with Army this past Spring, Duffy started 17 games and scored 62 goals and assisted on another 32 goals. She scored 7 goals for her high note against Lehigh on March 30th. Duffy helped win the control on 102 draws. She also caused 28 total turnovers on the season and scooped up 43 ground balls.
Duffy was named Co-Captain for Team USA for their trip to the World Lacrosse U20 Championships this past summer in Hong Kong, helping the US achieve the Gold Medal. She also was named to the Capital District Sports Women of the Year Class of 2022. In high school, Duffy's athleticism with the help of her sister Kady Duffy helped push Queensbury to the NYPHSAA Class B Championship in the Spring of 2022, but fell in the finals against Victor.
And all this while participating in two sports at Army. She's a midfielder on the Army Women's Soccer team, netting two goals back in September against Air Force.
Brigid Duffy shares the ballot with Ally Kennedy, Belle Smith and Chase Boyle. Voting is live through December 15th at https://www.usalacrosse.com/best-of-lacrosse-2024. You can vote as many times as you want.
