Weekdays 10am - 3pm
Nickname? J-Law, Law Dog, L-Train. I've been given a ton over the years.
Born in NYC. Grew up in Tuxedo, NY.
Home has been Granville, NY since 1987. Great small town America place to live and it was a great choice.
Started broadcasting here in 1989 when it was WAYI, left for a while to do radio in Rutland and Burlington, VT for a stretch and decided to come back.
What is great about the North Country? Probably being so close to both the Adirondack Mountains in NY and the Green Mountain in Vermont. Enjoy my trips up to Middlebury Vermont when I can see both on either side of Route 30.
I like The Barn Restaurant in Pawlet, Vermont - probably one of my favorite places because of the atmosphere, and food. Plus, it’s been a place I’ve been going to since I was a little kid. Rathbun’s Sugar house on the Granville/Whitehall border is probably my favorite place for breakfast. Great local history in and around the building along with a fantastic atmosphere and delicious food. Pine Grove in Granville is another local favorite. Consistent hours, great food and you always run into someone there you know.
For fun in the North Country: Getting on a tube in the summertime and heading down the Battenkill in Salem is always a fun time. Playing basketball at the elementary school in Wells Vermont is very relaxing. In the wintertime, strapping on the hockey skates at a couple of local ponds in Granville is always a great way to get some exercise.
