I’ve been a part of the Glens Falls region for my whole life, recalling the days of taking in an Adirondack Red Wings game in the 1980’s and 90’s, or enjoying a baseball game with the Glens Falls White Sox or Glens Falls Tigers at East Field. Or reminiscing when Zayre’s occupied a spot on top Miller Hill in Queensbury, Caldoor had a presence in the Aviation Mall, and Woolworth’s was in Downtown Glens Falls.

I hope to bring the same sense of historical storytelling and reminiscing when I’m telling you about the great vault of Classic Hits we have here on Q101.7.   Whether it’s the story behind a song or the blood, sweat and tears that went into an artist’s album, I try to tell you so you can better appreciate the music that spans the decades, both older classics and newer.

When I’m not in studio, I’m keeping my eyes on sports. Through commentating through play-by-play like I have for a span of a decade that includes watching Glens Falls get to the Dome three times, Queensbury win the tri-county’s first ever championship in 2013, or Joel Wincowski sinking the three to end his career in the 2015 championship for Lake George. And by watching in person or on television.
